John Hillman, CSP
MEET AXIOM
With more than 20 years in the field, John Hillman knows HSE. From the pharmaceutical to the chemical industry, he has supported over 25 manufacturing locations spanning across 8 countries. John has a unique perspective on industry best practices, cultural challenges, and methods to ensure his client’s HSE programs are successful. His business approach cultivates a teamwork environment that focuses on collective sharing of ideas to develop and deploy the best solutions for success.
He began his career with Merck as an HSE manager and rose through the ranks as an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer and Manager of Environmental Affairs and Safety, and most recently as the Director of Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Security for a prestigious petrochemical company. He has also served on the Board of the Tennessee Safety Health Council.
John is a Baton Rouge native and graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. Out of the office, he spends time with his family, serving in his local church and enjoying the great outdoors.
